Today (well, last Friday) I went on a "date" with some of my flat neighbors. So at two, after we were both doen with classes we went out to botanical garden. It was a beautiful, almost fall day, I know because I but on shorts. And we sat on a hill overlooking the Leith, (the local stream) and looked down upon the gardens. It was quite lovely we had a cider, fruit salad, and toasties (Grilled cheese sandwiches, but I think toasties is a much better name.)
Later another friend met up with us and we went to the pet store. I got to pet the kitties! Which were too big in my opinions, I prefer the kittens we had at home. There was also a dog, but it tried to eat Sarah's hair so I didn't really like it, she didn't seem to mind.
And then I went to the THRIFT STORE! I now have a big thick comfy and very flowery duvet. But I am not complaining, we don't really have insulation or heating, so it is going to get cold.
I know, this may seem kind of boring, but then..... We went to the beach! It was my first time at the beach in Dunedin and I love it! We saw the sun set and the moon rise, I really can't complain or ask for more. The moon when it is at the horizon looks absolutely huge. It was wonderful. I hope these pictures live up to that.
