The GRAND CANYON, it might be big, sort-of maybe

Look at that layering, simply gorgeous!

I think this is looking down Bright Angel Fault, not the main canyon.

I walked on this, in normal shoes, fortunately I did not fall and die a terrible death.

I guess the mules get the right of way on the trail

When I return I shall hike this terribly fun and safe looking trail. The sad part is that this is probably only 1/4 of the elevation down the canyon.

Hoover Dam, it just doesn't seem as massive from the top

Memorial to the Dam's Builders

In the forground you can see the spillway and just how much the reservoir  has fallen

The Resevoir

One clock on each side, NV/AZ time differs

Spillway- 700ft to the bottom

Power-lines simply cover the hills here.

This was build right after Pearl Harbor to protect the dam from attacks.

This was the most I saw of the Colorado that day.

That's Fortification hill in the Distance

I went over this bridge every day for field camp

Map Area Two, Wilson Ridge!

Ines and Brita, the trusty Grad Students

Fabian and I, mapping as the slot canyon

Artsy, there is a light at the end of the canyon!
Fortification Hill, 50-60 or 200? Lava Flows, I want to climb it!

Boulder City in the distance and the Bridge right next to Hoover Dam

rolling hill, fun to hike! ;)

more hills!

One the the Prospect hills, TPM?

Dead tree, but beautiful

Nature provided a seat for me!
Lake Mead in the Distance, here we have just a small part of Map Area Two's 16 square miles.
Bighorn Sheep!

Lichen, looks like the Microwave Background Radiation of the Universe!

Viva Las Vegas!

View of the strip to the East, notice the escalators to get on the bridge to pass the street, pretty cool (and a little ridiculous)

Ceasar's Palace
Trump Tower

Circus, Circus, one of the old Casinos

The Sahara, sadly it is closed now.

Fashion show mall, I don't know what this is supposed to do, but it sure looks cool, reminiscent of a giant blimp. BTW's there is a live fashion show in the mall every week.

Pirates Cove, come here at night to see a battle

View from the Venetion, beautiful columns, pity they're fake

The Venetion, shop in Venice, or ride the gondolas

The Parisian Arc de Triumph

The Famed Bellagio, stop outside to see the water show, every 15 minutes.

The Tram next to city center

New York, New York

Luxor

Not the NYC I remember
